A Donegal family are launching a book of poetry in memory of their brother who had Alpha-1. The book of poems written by their brother is called “Window to my World” and the launch is taking place on Friday August 21st at 8pm in the Resource Centre in Manorcunningham, Co. Donegal. John O’Donnell from Manorcunningham sadly passed away on the 5th of February 1987 aged just 26.
John wrote many poems throughout his short life and in his memory John’s family have decided to publish a collection of his poems. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go towards the Alpha One Foundation. Local radio station Highland Radio and local newspapers in Donegal will be covering the book launch. All are invited to attend the book launch and tea and refreshments will be served on the night.
